Kick it up with Kaia Bamboo Cleansing Cloths

We're on the brink of summer heat, and when it hits, you want to be ready. Stash Kaia 3-In-1 Bamboo Cleansing Cloths in your bathroom, cool them in your fridge, or even thrown in the packet into your purse. The lightly scented cloths feel super soft as they remove traces of makeup and refresh the skin. Since Kaia is made with sustainable bamboo, it's naturally antimicrobial and antifungal -- perfect for sensitive skin.

Each cloth is infused with 8 citrus essential oils, organic Canadian honey, sunflower seed oil and oat amino acids, all of which leave your skin feeling like cashmere. Whether your goal is to remove eye makeup, cleanse or tone, you can be sure that you'll feel fresh, never sticky.

Looking for convenience? No problem. Kaia Cloths are
already moist, unlike many of its competitors, so you can use them any time, no water required.

Available at eco-friendly online beauty shop, futurenatural.com.

Hot in Hot Shorts

As the temperature creeps up, so do hems. Take it to the extreme in hot shorts this summer. Wear them with a tailored piece to keep it classy or pair them with flats to keep it casual. Buttoned up or played down, hot shorts make a scorching statement, regardless of the temperature outside.

Hot shorts have endless possibilities: denim or khaki, high-waisted or low, cuffed or destroyed, buttoned or zippered. No matter what the combination, the key to this look is confidence. If you can walk the walk in this daring look, you can pull off one of this season's most skin-baring and attention-grabbing looks.

With so much skin exposed, don't forget to moisturize, moisturize, moisturize!! Use a lotion with SPF to protect you from the sun's harmful rays. Sun damage is not reversible, so protect your skin everyday to keep from developing ugly sun spots and scars.

Rachel Times Two!!!

Not all is gloomy in the retail world. In fact some designers seem to be flourishing. Take Manhattan based designer Rachel Roy who has plans to launch a diffusion line of contemporary women’s wear dubbed intimately Rachel Rachel Roy.

If you measure her success by the attendees to her launch party on the 29th, which included the likes of Alexandra Richards, who guest DJ’ed, model Veronica Webb, and a slue of fashion's most influential players; ELLE magazine’s Joe Zee, Teen Vogue’s Amy Astely and Glamour’s Cindi Leive, then she would seem to be thriving in a sector where most are barely surviving.

Hosted at the RRR showroom she presented guest with a range of youthfully chic pieces such as paper bag skirts, casual quarter sleeve trenches, printed jackets, acid wash minis, and studded tees.

In conjunction with Jones Apparel Group Inc. Roy is set to launch the brand exclusively in 85 Macy stores throughout the country this August. The collection will be a full lifestyle brand, and as such will include footwear, apparel, and accessories.

“There is a great deal of opportunity for this affordable, young, but still with designer details kind of line,” said Terry Lundgren, chairman, chief executive officer and president of Macy’s Inc., to WWD.

The collection is set to retail from $59 to $299; cheap, very cheap, when considering the bigger picture of things. Girls can expect a full assortment of stylish items, from everyday pieces like knit cardigans and jersey dresses to on point trends like jumpsuits and embellished tee’s. So who said fashion is dying, as this points out it is and will continue to flourish with talent!! It all depends on where you look, and you'll definitely want to keep a look out for this haute hip line come fall.
